ἐπιθήματα κάλ᾽ ἀνέῳγεν:

περικαλλέας ἔξελε πέπλους,

χλαίνας, τόσσους δὲ τάπητας,
τόσσα δὲ φάρεα

χρυσοῦ δὲ
στήσας ἔφερεν δέκα πάντα τάλαντα,
ἐκ δὲ δύ᾽ αἴθωνας

περικαλλές, ὅ οἱ Θρῇκες πόρον ἄνδρες
ἐξεσίην ἐλθόντι

He spoke and
opened the fair lids of chests, from which he took twelve beautiful robes and twelve
cloaks of single fold, and as many coverlets, and as many white mantles, and
many tunics as well. And of gold he weighed and carried out talents, ten in
all, and tow gleaning tripods, and four cauldrons, and a beautiful cup that the
men of Thrace had given him when he went there on an embassy, a great treasure.

4個大鍋爐 (cauldrons, λέβητας)
Thrace 的大杯 (cup, δέπας)
最後一個大杯是當時Priam出使希臘北方的Thrace，對方餽贈之厚禮；似乎在提醒Priam曾與希臘的交情。
